Declan McDonald is a highly experienced soil scientist with an undergraduate degree in Urban Horticulture from UTS and a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Agriculture (Soils) from the University of Sydney. His expertise spans site soil surveys, bespoke soil specifications, and promoting healthy soils as living organisms integral to thriving ecosystems. Declan’s career encompasses agriculture, urban horticulture, construction, and the waste/compost industry, giving him a well-rounded perspective on soil management and regenerative practices.
As a member of the Green Different Network, Declan will advise on site soil surveys, testing and analysis, integrating nutrient cycles and site-specific solutions to improve soil health and fertility. His work ensures sustainable foundations for urban landscapes, even in challenging Gulf environments.
